Trans Pacific National Bank(TPNB), with branches in San Francisco’s Financial District as well as Alameda and Millbrae, provides a broad range of business and personal services to customers throughout Northern California. The female-owned, privately-held Bank, founded in 1984 as a San Francisco-based financial institution, combines a “can do” attitude with an experienced, knowledgeable and customer-focused management and staff. We are a bank where you will receive exceptional service and get to know the decision makers.

TPNB is a SBA Preferred Lender with the philosophy of providing financing to fit the banking needs of small businesses including: business acquisition, commercial real estate, construction financing, debt refinance, machinery and equipment, C&I, working capital lines of credit as well as online banking, cash management and merchant card services. For personal banking needs, the Bank’s services include checking and savings accounts, Internet banking and bill pay, wire transfer, safe deposit boxes, home equity lines of credit, ATM access and debit cards.

With direct access to senior bankers, customers find that working with TPNB harkens back to the day when community banks were friendly places where people know your name and you know them. By tailoring its services to fit customer needs and encouraging its team to find creative solutions which other banks often overlook the Bank instills the attitude of “we can do it for you.”

The San Francisco office is conveniently located at 88 Kearny Street. In Alameda, the Bank’s branch is in a historic banking office located at 1442 Webster Street. The Millbrae branch has been at 979 Broadway since 2007 and serves customers throughout the Peninsula.

Trans Pacific’s owners trace their community banking heritage to Ireland in the early 20th century, continuing through the ownership of an Illinois community bank in the Chicago area. They acquired Trans Pacific in 1997 from its founders. With a diverse mixture of cultures and backgrounds Trans Pacific is truly a San Francisco community bank.
