About Us

Providing Business & Personal Banking Since 1984

Trans Pacific National Bank(TPNB) was organized in 1984, by a group of Bay Area business professionals and is an independent, community bank headquartered in San Francisco’s South of Market area.

TPNB’s philosophy is to provide more than conventional banking services.  We offer prudent and knowledgeable assistance to deliver a tailored package to fit the banking requirements of individuals and businesses, including those that are involved in the international market.

Our San Francisco office is centrally located on the southern edge of the downtown Financial District and the northern edge of the South of Market business area.  Being near the financial district enables TPNB to easily serve the local professional services community.

The city of Alameda is home to TPNB’s beautiful East Bay Business Banking Center. In 1988, we renovated and restored a historic banking office which had been abandoned by one of California’s large banks.  As one of the few neighborhood banks remaining in the city of Alameda, Trans Pacific National Bank is strongly committed to participating in and improving the local community, especially along Webster Street.

In December 2007, we relocated our Peninsula branch from the city of Belmont to Millbrae. Located in downtown Millbrae, our Peninsula branch is centrally located to serve the businesses of Millbrae and nearby communities of San Mateo, Burlingame, and Redwood City.  We are excited to be expanding our operations to better service our existing Peninsula area clients and to reach out to more businesses in the area.
